Meet the Team: Character.AI Welcomes Erin Teague as Chief Product Officer

We are thrilled to announce that Character.AI is welcoming Erin Teague as our new Chief Product Officer. As we double down on personalized AI entertainment, Erin is the perfect person to lead the charge and unlock unique AI experiences for everyone, everywhere. 

Who is Erin?

You’ve probably already seen her work on Gemini, Google Shopping, YouTube’s VR App, and more. Erin has a track record of building industry-leading consumer internet products at Google, YouTube, and several early-stage startups.

Before joining us, Erin held several executive product leadership roles at Google. Most recently, she served as Technical Advisor to the Senior Vice President overseeing products for Search, Ads, Maps, Gemini, Assistant, shopping, and payments. She also served as the Senior Director & Global Head of Sports, Movies, and Shows Product Management at YouTube and founded the Racial Justice, Equity, and Product Inclusion initiative. Prior to this role, she led YouTube’s Virtual and Augmented Reality product teams and the development of the highly acclaimed YouTube VR app.
