Character.ai’s Imagine feature turns conversations into visuals - dramatic scenes, surreal worlds, unexpected moments. It’s one of the most creative ways to build upon your chat on Character.ai.

Now, every moment you create with Imagine has a place to live.

Imagine Gallery is a new space in the c.ai mobile app where all of your Imagine-generated moments come together in one organized, visual grid.

Whether you generate Imagine moments occasionally or build entire worlds across chats and Personas, Gallery makes it simple to explore, manage, and share what you’ve created.

How It Works

  • All your Imagines, together: Every moment you’ve generated, past and present, is included automatically.
  • Explore visually: A fast, intuitive grid makes it easy to scan and rediscover.
  • Filter by Persona: Move seamlessly between your identities.
  • Save your favorites: Keep standout moments within easy reach.
  • Share instantly: Post to the Community Feed, send outside the app, copy, or download in seconds.
  • Set chat backgrounds: c.ai+ subscribers can bring their favorite generations directly into their chats by setting Imagines as backgrounds, straight from the Gallery.

Imagine has become one of the most creative ways people experience Character.ai and their chats. Gallery strengthens that experience by giving those moments structure and visibility across the product - not just inside a single chat.

Imagine Message

With the launch of Imagine Gallery, we’re also introducing Imagine Message.

When you receive a Character message that sparks your imagination, you can now tap the image icon to instantly generate a moment from that specific message. Swipe through variations right in the chat, then open the media viewer to set as a wallpaper, post to Feed, favorite, share, or download.

Imagine Message expands the Imagine Chat feature to focus on your very favorite moments of action. Just like regular Imagine moments, these will also show up in your Imagine Gallery.

Imagine Gallery launches with images.

Over time, Imagine Gallery will bring together the images, videos, comics, books, and more created through your chats - making it easier to build on ideas and keep the conversation going.
